Jawai, a small village located in the Pali district, Rajasthan is situated on the Jawai river. It has now become one of the most visited tourist place in Rajasthan. This area commonly referred to as Jawai Bandh due to a nearby dam on the river. Jawai Bandh was built by Maharaja Umaid Singh, then ruler of Jodhpur over an area of 500 sq km.
