Badi Lake, also called Jiyan Sagar, was built by Maharana Raj Singh I in the 17th century. Above it, the rocky Bahubali Hills give a wide view of the lake and the Aravallis.

The climb is fifteen to twenty minutes on a rough trail; the view at first light is worth the early start.

Good to know

  • Wear shoes with grip; the last stretch is loose rock.
  • Combine with a visit to Animal Aid Unlimited in Badi village.
