While Udaipur is known for its royal palaces and tranquil lakes by day, the city changes character once the sun goes down.
Start at Ambrai Ghat, where the City Palace lights up across the water. Walk over the Daiji bridge to Gangaur Ghat for the evening Dharohar show at Bagore Ki Haveli, then head to a rooftop for dinner over the lake.
Later, Fateh Sagar's pal stays lively with coffee carts, corn stalls and families out for the breeze. It's the side of Udaipur most day-trippers never see.
