SHASHTRI SWEETS
It was around Holi last year when my college friends decided to visit Udaipur. As we all know, this city has so much to offer for every age group and we being the first time visitors were all full of excitement.
Our tickets were booked and the day has come to finally start my journey to the city of lakes. Throughout the way, my friends were conversing about the lakes, temples and historical sites. Meanwhile, me being a true foodie was excited about the Mewari cuisines and primarily for SHASHTRI SWEETS because my father had a great experience there when he visited this place which was around 10-12 years back.
On the second day of my journey, I headed to Shashtri sweets and once I reached there. The variety of sweets available made me grateful for my decision to come to this place. This sweets shop was started around 55 years back but the tasteful sweets it has to offer are unbeatable. It was started by Mr Keshav Das Veerwani and is presently run by his son Mr Ravi Veerwani and I luckily got a chance to meet him. He told how he is maintaining the tasteful legacy of his father to serve with the best.
Well, if you are someone who is planning to visit Shashtri Sweets. I must tell you that they are open from morning 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
