ALBELI UDAIPUR
When it comes to a shop with an affordable price and variety of things, “Albeli” is the shop that strikes my mind. Currently, Albeli is owned by Sanjay, the shop owner. It was started 35 years ago by his father, Mr. Gauhar Lal. It is located on City palace road, Udaipur, Rajasthan.
Mr. Gauhar Lal learned handicrafts from Gujarat and came to Udaipur. He opened Albeli in old Udaipur near City Palace to attract the tourist that visited there. This shop mainly contains textile materials which are very popular these days. People from different countries stay there and adore the beauty of handicrafts. There is an old saying, ” Sometimes hard work does not work, but smart work does’ ‘ and Gauhar Lal is the best example of this. He achieved success from his intelligence and hard work. Now his son is taking the family business to new horizons.
