I have been living in Udaipur ever since I was born and have been into visiting different Lakes when I feel stressed from my day-to-day life and that is one of those things I love because of the tranquility and soothing aroma around the lakes. But whenever I visit Gangaur Ghat, there is one thing for sure: having snacks or coffee at Cafe Edelweiss which is also known as Cafe Edelweiss & Savage Garden Restaurant. The Cafe is famous for its Italian and Mediterranean cuisines, which they serve but it’s also known for its bakery which offers different varieties of cakes and pies. Whereas, the special sandwiches on their menu are the centre of attraction.
The Cafe was started by Mr. Rakesh in 1999 along with his friend from Germany and the place is addressed as 71, Gangaur Ghat, Opposite Bagore ki Haweli. The Cafe remains under operation from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 p. m. in the night.
They also have their restaurant which is known as Savage Garden Restaurant which remains open for customers from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p. m. at night.
